5-year-old rescued from fallen tree debris in Pittsburg

PITTSBURG, Calif. (KRON) -- A 5-year-old had to be pulled from debris after a tree fell onto the roof of a learning center in Pittsburg on Tuesday afternoon, according to officials with the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District. Eastbound 580 reopens after overturned big rigs closed the Richmond bridge Fire Captain Jeff Clark said when fire crews arrived on scene with the Pittsburg Police Department at The Learning Center on Civic Avenue, about 20 children were on the scene. CONCORD, Calif. (KRON) -- Three Cessna planes were tipped over by high winds at Buchanan Field Airport in Concord on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Eastbound 580 reopened after big rigs were overturned by high winds on Richmond bridge The incident happened around 2 p.m., and the FAA reports that none of the planes were preparing for flight at the time. A Cessna 210 and two Cessna 172s were flipped in the incident. (KRON) -- Highway 1, a major corridor connecting Santa Cruz County to Monterey County along the coast, has been fully shutdown for three days because of flooding south of Watsonville.Many drivers who depend on Highway 1 are wondering, when will it reopen? SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Multiple suspects were detained on the Bay Bridge Tuesday evening in connection to a report of shots fired from a vehicle in San Francisco, according to the San Francisco Police Department. Officers responded to a shots fired call on the 1200 block of Buchanan Street at around 6:07 p.m., police said. Tate Reeves signed a bill Tuesday restricting electric car manufacturers from selling vehicles in person unless they open franchised dealerships.Defying calls from some fellow Republicans in the Legislature to veto the measure, Reeves enacted into law House Bill 401, introduced by Republican Rep.
