QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - At West Mountain, summer doesn't stop. The mountain has announced "Endless Summer" is on the way. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! The mountain is running a special promotion with free and discounted adventures on Saturday, Aug. 26. Visitors can take a free ride on the mountain's chairlifts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Once they're up there, many of the summer attractions running at the mountaintop come at a steep discount. ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, Mo. - An investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death overnight in a St. Francois County home.Investigators say a 43-year-old man was shot to death and found inside a home in the 2500 block of Missouri Route H near Farmington. The victim, not identified by police, suffered multiple gunshot wounds. LOUIS - A St. Louis man admitted to sharing child pornography and leaving St. Louis while on house arrest.Daniel Bert pleaded guilty to one federal felony charge of transportation of child pornography. Calling out the Court: Missouri family battles jury summons for son who can’t serve According to the plea agreement, the FBI received two tips indicating that Bert had discussed his sexual interest in young children on Kik Messenger. On a different app, Bert started communicating with an undercover FBI agent and reportedly shared a picture of his genetials. In messages, Bert told the agent that he had a hard drive full of child pornography, per the plea agreement. After that, agents obtained a search warrant for Bert’s home. LOUIS - Officials broke ground on a new $400 million battery materials manufacturing plant in St. Louis earlier this week.ICL, a global specialty minerals company, will have the first large-scale battery materials manufacturing facility in the United States. A woman was killed at a Los Angeles car dealership when another customer crashed a car in the service area, emergency officials said.The crash was reported at 9:11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at Hamer Toyota, in the Mission Hills neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley, said a statement from the Los Angeles Fire Department.The car went out of control as it drove into the service garage and had come to a stop in the reception area, with a customer trapped underneath.The trapped woman was freed by other customers and employees, and an off-duty nurse began resuscitation efforts.
