LONDON — Britain’s comeback kid foreign secretary will be known as Lord Cameron of Chipping Norton — in an inadvertent callback to a chummy group of elite power-players from his time in Downing Street.A House of Lords spokesperson confirmed that David Cameron will take on the new title on Monday, when he will be introduced to Britain’s second legislative chamber. In a shock return, the ex-prime minister was appointed foreign secretary by current-PM Rishi Sunak earlier this week.Cameron was famously described by Britain’s media corps as a member of the “Chipping Norton Set” in the 2010s — a group of media, political and celebrity elites all hailing from the market town of Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire.Along with Cameron and his entrepreneur wife Samantha, the group included Rebekah Brooks, the head of Rupert Murdoch’s News U.K. operation, the broadcaster Jeremy Clarkson and Blur bassist Alex James. Brooks was known to be close to Cameron — and the...Revere police share shocking video, warn community after brazen jewelry thefts

What a day yesterday as temps rose into the lower to middle 60s under a mainly sunny sky and light winds. Today, we’ll be right back into the 60s, but have some other “issues” to deal with. The first issue of the day is the locally dense fog which is most widespread south of the Pike, especially prevalent across Southeast Mass, RI, and CT. There is a locally dense fog advisory in place there until 10am. Once the wind gets going, the fog dissipates and temps shoot up. We’ll head up into the mid 60s this afternoon with a southwesterly wind gusting 25-30mph. That southerly breeze continues tonight as temps stay lofty, in the mid 50s. The highest risk for showers tonight is across far southeast Mass, especially the Cape and Islands. By early tomorrow morning, we’ll have some interior showers in the mix and then watch a few of those showers move through eastern Mass mid morning to early afternoon. We’ll dry out from west to east tomorrow afternoon as c...Barefoot workers and cracked floors were found at a factory that made recalled eyedrops, FDA says

WASHINGTON (AP) — An Indian company that recently recalled eyedrops sold in the U.S. had a host of sanitation and manufacturing problems, including barefoot workers, cracked floors and altered records, U.S. health inspectors found.Food and Drug Administration officials uncovered more than a dozen problems at the Mumbai plant operated by Kilitch Healthcare India, according to a preliminary inspection report posted by the agency. The factory produced more than two dozen varieties of eyedrops that were subject to an FDA safety warning last month. The products were sold by CVS Health, Target, Rite Aid and other national retailers who said they would be removed from store shelves. New details about the plant’s problems emerged after FDA inspectors visited the plant late last month.Agency inspectors documented factory workers not wearing masks, gloves and gowns and working barefoot in areas that are supposed to be sterile. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson entered Thursday’s pivotal AFC North showdown with a 7-1 record against the Cincinnati Bengals, and tight end Mark Andrews was a big reason why.Jackson’s ability to rely on Andrews, the signal caller’s security blanket, has been crucial in games against the division rival. Andrews had scored seven touchdowns in his 10 career regular-season games against the Bengals, including one in each of his past three. It appeared Thursday would be more of the same, as Jackson hit Andrews for a 14-yard reception on the game’s first play and later found him for a 9-yard catch in the red zone. But Andrews suffered an ankle injury on the play that knocked him out of the game — and likely will for the season — forcing the Ravens’ much-discussed wide receiver corps to step up.That it did, helping lead Baltimore to a 34-20 win.Odell Beckham Jr. had his first 100-yard game as a Raven, stacking a third straight impactful week afte...Mike Preston: Ravens nothing special in win over Bengals, but they can still have a special season | COMMENTARY

The Ravens won. That’s the best thing you can say about the team’s 34-20 win against the visiting Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night at M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens (8-3) beat the Bengals (5-5) for the second time this season and expanded their lead in the AFC North over the Cleveland Browns (6-3) and Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3), who will face off Sunday. But there isn’t much more to learn from Thursday’s game when it comes to how far the Ravens might go in the postseason. The Ravens lost tight end Mark Andrews to a likely season-ending ankle injury after he was tackled near the goal line by linebacker Logan Wilson following a 9-yard reception with 11:05 left in the first quarter. That’s devastating news, almost as significant as the Browns announcing Wednesday that quarterback Deshaun Watson will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury he suffered last week in Baltimore.Regardless, the Ravens won, and that’s all that matters.
