DENVER (KDVR) -- An abandoned home in Aurora was destroyed by flames Sunday afternoon.According to Aurora Fire Rescue, the flames were reported just after 3 p.m. at the home west of Powhaton Road and north of Interstate 70. Arapahoe County deputies wrangle runaway cow 'trick-or-treating' in neighborhood

DENVER (KDVR) -- The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office had some beef with a loose cow that "high-tailed it from its pasture" in Parker and ended up in a neighborhood Sunday afternoon.Video posted on social media showed the cow running around the neighborhood located near East Broncos Parkway and South Jordan Road. Berthoud military veteran honored nationally by Veterans of Foreign Wars Deputies responded and tried to wrangle the cow along with its owner."The steaks were high and we didn't want to butcher this slow-speed chase but this cow was moooooving!" ‘Be on alert’: Police searching for man in connection with homicide in Gardner

Authorities are warning the public to be on alert as they search for an “armed and dangerous” man in connection with a the death of a woman in Gardner on Sunday morning who was found in a home with four young children inside, officials said.Aaron Pennington, 33, of Gardner, is being sought in connection with the death of a woman on Cherry Street. Her name has not been released.Investigators say four children, ages 2, 5, 7, and 9 were inside the home at the time and left to get help.
