ST. LOUIS - A blog released earlier this month from real estate company Norada lists St. Louis as the third "most dangerous" city in the United States. Only Detroit, Michigan, and Baltimore, Maryland, were deemed more dangerous than St. Louis in the rankings. Norada's findings were presented in a blog called "Top 10 Most Dangerous Cities in America." Another St. Louis resident loses property via Recorder of Deeds Office Norada, a California-based firm, says many of the ten cities listed have high violent crime rates, gang violence and poverty, among other factors. A research team analyzed FBI data, albeit from 2019, to create the rankings. Norada claims that St. Louis is plagued by a gun violence epidemic and youth involvement in criminal activities. "The prevalence of firearms, coupled with limited gun control measures, further contributes to the overall crime rates in St. Louis," says the blog. Close Thanks for signing up! From sandwiches to Cobb salads, oft-overlooked recipes for leftover turkey on Black Friday abound, but just how long will all of that meat stay good in the refrigerator?“Once you’ve prepared something and it’s ready to go, you only want to leave it out for two hours,” said Alexis Supan, RD, registered dietitian for Cleveland Clinic. “The temperature danger zone is 40 degrees to 140 degrees. So, most food falls into that within a two-hour time frame.”If confining turkey consumption to a two-hour window seems unlikely, there are some things you can do to snack safely well after the main event. Chatsworth family has $200,000 worth of valuables stolen while Black Friday shopping Supan suggests using a slow cooker for some of the meat or warming the turkey in the oven when you start nearing that two-hour mark. The core temperature should hit 165 degrees, to be safe, according to Supan. If those leftovers are exposed to temperatures above 90 degrees Fahrenheit while under the sun or sit...Review: This play goes spectacularly wrong in San Jose — as it should

“The Play That Goes Wrong” can feel less hilarious farce and more painful documentary.Witnessing the dumpster fire that is the Cornley University Drama Society hits close to home for those who’ve ever been a part of an amateur drama production operating on a limited budget. Cue lines that don’t cue, improvising through a cast-member’s missed entrance and devastating head injuries that force a stage manager to turn to an understudy to save the show — sound familiar, thespians? What works smartly in the play, running at San Jose Stage Company through Dec. 17 after a delay of more than a year, and with a mostly new cast, is how evenly both acts are structured, the first act setting up fine payoffs in the final frame. Director Kenneth Kelleher’s work is often terrific when it comes to the action. His ability to build tableaus requiring intricate timing fits divinely in a show of this style. The issues of the play have been present in personal viewings of the show in New York, ...Police seek public's help in finding missing at-risk 81-year-old Asian woman

LONDON (AP) — Kai Havertz’s 89th-minute goal fired Arsenal to the top of the Premier League on Saturday after a 1-0 win at Brentford. Mikel Arteta’s team looked set to miss out on the opportunity to move into first place after Manchester City and Liverpool drew 1-1 earlier in the day. But Havertz came up with a decisive header to score his first goal from open play for Arsenal since joining from Chelsea in the offseason. The Germany international’s only other goal came from the penalty spot against Bournemouth in September. His strike at Gtech Community Stadium was crucial as Arsenal moved a point ahead of defending champion City. Meeting Bukayo Saka’s cross at the far post, Havertz headed between the legs of Brentford goalkeeper Mark Flekken. Arsenal’s players were celebrating earlier when Leandro Trossard thought he had opened the scoring, but the goal was ruled offside after a VAR review. ___AP soccer: https://apnews.com/hub/soccerSourceLatest news
